125g Stocking

hey guys, im going to be starting a 125g (itll prolly be in a few months) and i am currently thinking about getting a pair of oscars for it. i do however want to get other peoples opinions on what they would stock it with, and/or suggestions on what they think i should stock it with lol. anyway, thanks for your input

sorry to bring you bad news but...you could only house one oscar in 125gallon...

I would have thought a 125 is an ok size for a mated pair of oscars. Though tankmates would be limited, probably to a few catfish, but them you have the problem of them eating the eggs/fry. If it was my tank I think I'd be fine with just a pair of oscars in there.

I think another member on here, Nelly, has a pair of oscars in a 125 and has a jag with them, but I wouldn't know how it worked, wether it was temporary without him/her posting their set up.

125Gallon could easily hold 2 for life.
