at the moment i have my betta in a 10gal (his one gal cracked an thats sad cuz he had a bubble nest atleast 1'' tall. im not kidding) but i was wondering what i could put in a 10gal with him?

Divide the tank and add more bettas! That's what i'd do and am doing at the moment!

In my experience, black tetras (aka black skirt or black widow tetra) do not get along very well with bettas.

Cories, otos, and/or khuli loaches would be a good choice if you're not interested in dividing the tank... or maybe some African dwarf frogs

i don't know much about bettas' compatibility levels with other fish but i would definitely suggest dividing the tank!

i already got 2 otos in there with him i was thinking bout a ghost shrimp or 2 an about 3 corries. ive never seen or heard about the other fish you said synirr. lol my betta in the 10gal looks like your betta named yura in your signature!

lol ok im getting 3 corrys from walmart (i buy from WM sometimes cuz i feel sorry for the fish an i feel the fish at the lps already have a good enough life) but one question what would look better in a 10gal with blue gravel-normal or albino? im thinkin albino cuz i kinda like white colored fish wish i could find white otos love those suckers.

Awww, Yura is my little buddy . He sits right by my computer, so I tend to see him a lot more than some of the others.

Here's what khuli loaches look like... I love those little guys! I think ghost shrimp would be good, except that Mr. Betta might decide to eat them on occasion... but they're cheap, so personally I don't mind that. If you think crustaceans have feelings you might feel differenty, though

lol it would be okay if he ate anything i put in there. he is SPOILED all my others have a 1gal or a 1.5gal but he gets a 10gal cuz he was my first. an he looks really good in there. sometimes he sees his reflection an will flair at it an if you put your hand up there hell get scared swim to the middle of the tank turn around an jus look for a few secs then start flairing again...if this betta died i would be more sad than if any other betta died.... im trying to talk my step mom to let me move the 10gal into the comp room or the living room so he can be around more ppl cuz he loves attention!

wow them loaches are really cool. where would i get one. an do they need sand like in the pic?! SOOOOO KOOL!!! do they need to be in groups? are they agressivE?! oh hell jus give me a stat page on them!

TO GOOGLE I WENT WITH THE NAME KHULI LOACH an found that they are nocturnal(love the dark) hide during day. peacful. only grow about 3 inches. shy. move on land like a snake an that ill have to go buy a hiding spot for them oh well 10$ for a lil log thing isnt bad when it comes to a pet thats scared/doesnt like the day. i just need to know where to get some...but ya im definatly thinking i will get one if i find one for cheap shiping an price sence my bday is on sept 20

sry for puting soo much up. but any one think a picoc eel would be good? they look really interesting? info on them would be nice.

khulis cant be done they need sand an well rooted plants. i would love a few but only if i know they would be happy an i dont think they would be in a gravel set up
