Ya, I have some but they arn't good. I really need to get a better camera. Either I havent learned how to focus close-up on things with my camera or its just too crappy to get a clear pic upclose.

The emerald is about 0.5 inches across its shell and maybe 1 inch with legs included, so still a little guy with plenty of growing to do

The blue legged hermits are quite small. The shells they both have are about 1/3 of inch long and they are maybe at most a third of that. Iwanted to get them small to make sure they stay non-aggressive for as long as possible. I've heard they can get a little "crabby" when they are adults so I wanted to stem this as long as possible..... and sorry about the bad joke

Small update: Nothing new.... just an update pic. The zoos are closed up because I just cleaned the tank and moved them up a little higher onto the rock for more light and to stay out of the path of my inverts when they go to feed... they stomp all over the beautiful zoos with no disregard. anyways.. heres the pic

EDIT: No a change, just thought I should add with the update incase people are wondering, yes I am battling algae like everyone else

Hey dude. You tank is coming along. Looks older now, not that 100% new stage! Have you thought of joining a local reef club. NY would have to have a reef club/ Its a GREAT place to trade/buy frags locally, to get the "cream of the crop" too. Check it out, you might find the benefits and friends you make a great help.

Yes 2 or 3 to my knowledge I believe. Ski has asked me to meet up when his club which meets every once in awhile but i just havent had time with school and work taking the brunt of my time, but I'm planning on meeting up at one sooner rather than later I hope

No, he just goes from in between the two big pieces of rock during the day to a little cave in my big rock at night. He doesnt bother anybody except he can be a little pushy when I put in a little bit of flake for everyone, but thats to be expected from any crab

Nothing tremendous to add. I put in some bigger shells for my hermits. I thought they were way too big for the hermits at the moment but one took right to a bigger shell. It struggled for a week or so but he molted and grew out a little into the shell and now it is quite massive compared to the other hermits. It is almost as big as my turbo snail. Here are a couple pics, nothing really to compare it to for size but the shell is about the size of a mans thumb from the tip to the first joint.
