10G Stocking - Starter Fish

Brilliant :) Are these fish OK to all go in straight away or are there any that anyone would reccomend leaving a while for the tank to mature?

I would think all the rasboras and the gourami could go in right away. It might be that the 4 pygmys could also but I'll defer to OM47 (whose actually had/has some!)

One does have to be careful about cory species, they vary a lot by species as to how hardy they are and what water conditions they like.

In my case I put the pygmy cories into a tank with a mature filter added to it. I have no idea how they would do with a newly cycled filter.

You could post a question in the cory forum and see if you get lucky. Barring that I guess we could speculate and say that most fish that die in higher numbers in new tanks (like neons/cards and perhaps panda cories and GBRs) get a reputation for it and for my part I've not heard that reputation for pygmys. So perhaps as long as you be sure to do a good "qualification week" on the biofilter it would be ok to include the pygmys (assuming you can find good specimens on buying day) in the first stocking along with the rasboras and the honey. On the other hand, you could also just leave them out of the first stocking and since they are so small, stock all 4 at once at a later point.
