Hi all,

I currently have a 105 litre planted, community tank that houses 12 cardinal tetras, 7 ember tetras and one male betta. The tank looks a bit sparse so I was wondering if I could fit in any more fish (tetras if possible)?

Thanks in advance!

How long has the tank been set up?

Is the tank fully cycled?
Fish-in cycle, or fishless?

I think you could easily add another shoal of tetras.
Does the betta behave himself with the other fish?...sometimes they work in a community tank, sometimes not.

Yes, he is fine with the others. I made sure to add the tetras first and then the betta to avoid any territorial issues.

Good, I think it would be fine to add tetras...get at least 10, they are social fish, and do best in groups.
Look at rummynose, pristellas, glolights, black neons, black/red/yellow phantoms...they are all smaller sized tetras
