I've got a 10 gallon that is currently cycling. . . UG filter (I'm going to buy an AC mini soon.)

Here's the list of fish I'd like to put in it:

2 red platies
3 marigold swortails
2 cory cats

I think this will be overstocked -_- I guess I can do without the cories :( or get some otos, but I've always wanted cories. What does everyone think?

(edited spelling)

I don't think it looks overstocked. Maybe a little understocked. As long as you keep up with the maint. it should be fine.

Cories are great!

Definitly under stocked why not add two more corys so they have company. And unless you are doing daily changes or an emergency change 50% can be a bit stressful.

Nice to see someone with an understocked tank wanting to know if they can have more. Usually it's people why have 70gallon's worth of fish in a 10!

LOL

I'd increase the corys too. They are better in as big a group as possible in my opinion.

:)

Excellent! I was hoping for some more cories, too, but I didn't list more in case that would make the tank way overstocked  :p

Now, can anyone recommend a type of cory to get?

I have some Julii cories a.k.a spotted cories and they are great! you should ask inchworm she is a cory expert!

I wish i only had that amount of fish in my tank.

As you can see from my sig im fully stocked with my tank and cant get anymore fish as of yet :(

Juliis are nice.

I went to all the lfs in my area and was planning on getting Sterbais earlier but they sold out. I have to wait untill next week to do it now, but that is what I am going for. If I did not get those I would probably go with the Juliis (which are different then the Pepper Cories btw)

how could you say that getting rid of the corys (kinda) corys are so cool and thats crap never doubt your temptation for corys corys corys

(thats was suppose to be an echo type thing
I've never had corys before so it would be easier for me to not add them to my tank than if I had them but then had to remove them. I'm sure once I've bought some and fallen in love I'll have to have some in all my tanks.
