10 Gallon Tank with Two Male Mollies

I have a ten gallon tank that I started with nutrafin cycle about a week ago. I added a dalmatian molly on Friday and a silver molly on Monday. I’m wondering how many mollies total I can have in this tank and how long should I wait before adding a third?

TBH, mollies get a little big for a 10 gallon. If you have a 20 gallon, you could put them in there.

They should be OK for now, assuming you don’t add any more fish.

You are right. Mollies can go in a 10 gallon for some time. Not their whole life though.

Of course! How old are the mollies though. And an estimate of in a few months.

I got the mollies a few days ago so i’m not sure how old. They are about an inch big. A few months would be about 3 months

You do need to upgrade as soon as possible, though. Mollies are big fish, they really need a tank at least 36 inches long. With the smaller species, females can grow to over 4 inches long and the bigger species even larger.
