somewhere I'm not even sure
I have a Fluval Flex 10 gallon tank. It is cycled and I would like to get lots of plants and turn it into a Betta tank. I was planning on getting one female Betta for the tank but Petco keeps a tank with a bunch of female Bettas in it. I know that Betta sorority tanks are a thing but I'm not sure how or if I can do that with a 10 gallon. Would a sorority work? If so how many female Betta do I get? Thanks in advance.

10 gallons is too small for a sorority, they need at least 20 gallons, I'm afraid. But 10 gallons is good for a single female betta.

Edit to add - with a sorority, the absolute minimum number is 4. But more is better. And a sorority needs a lot of decor (plants, live or fake) so each female can get away from the others.
Some females are as aggressive as males and can never be kept with other females.

One more question, I really like wild type Bettas but is there any specific care or needs for them apart from domesticated Bettas?

I got driftwood, plants, and stones today. I got some pennywort, water sprite, Java moss, Marimo moss balls, Hygrophila, and some corkscrew val. I got some black river stones and spiderwood. I will post a pic when the water clears up. I had to buy a small bag of sand to cover up the roots of the plants so my water got a bit cloudy from that. As soon as it clears up with a few water changes I will be all set to get 2 Nerites and a Betta :) Already have a few pest snails but I don't mind them.

Here is a pic of the tank :) the water cleared up with another water change.
