I will have an empty 10 gal come tomorrow afternoon, and my mom suggested that I get some dividers and make it a multi-betta tank. Is this a good idea, and not too hard to do? thanks. ;)

I voted for 2 betta's, gives them a wee bit extra room but 3 would be okay. I personaly have never done a divided tank but have seen them done. Looks nice, easy to do & get 2 betta babies...can't go wrong there!
Good Luck

;) Hmm what i would do is purchase another 10g and leave your females and bettas in their (if male is compatible) and put a diveder in the other one then you can try breeding... or u can simply keep 2 bettas in their remember!! each section needs at least 1 plant and 1 cave ;)

Hi freshwatergal :)

I voted for just one. But, if you put corys on the bottom you will have a very nice combination. I have a tank set up with several different kinds of corys and my betta just loves it in there. He is very interested in what they do, but since they are, in no way, competing with him, he is very friendly toward them. He is very active and spends time at the bottom rather than just hanging out at the top.
