So I've been trying to get good pics out of this digicam for months, get some decent ones, but nothing really awesome. My wife grabs the camera on a whim & starts taking some fishroom pics.

I can get good close ups with my 35mm, but can't manage to get anything really good with the digicam. I don't know how she did it. She doesn't know how she did it.

These are 1 day old angel fry. The thermometer is 1" wide, I thought it gave a really good size reference.

From now on she can take the pictures. I'll just feed the fish.

Great pictures Tolak! How in the heck did your other half manage to get so many of the babies so near to the glass? How big is your fry tank? Ah, who cares! Beautiful, real beautiful! :D

PS My fry always swim away!

Wow! Great picture :) I always assumed Angel fry were born looking like little baby Angels, but they just look like normal fish. Do you know how long it takes till they start to look like miniature angels?

I guess at about 4 wks they look like little Angels!!!

That is an AWESOME PHOTO!!! LOOK AT ALL THOSE SWIMMING "EYES"!!!

Woah, super cool!!!!!!

What if we just nominated this "section" of the above photo?? :*) I think it allows for a better viewing experience of the little guys!!!

Hey, thanks for the complements, as well as the FOTM nomonation everyone. I showed my wife all the responses after work today, & she was thrilled!

I hatch & raise them in a 10 gallon tank, transfer them to a 20 gallon after about 2 weeks. They start to look "angelfishy" at around 2 weeks, at 4 weeks you can definitly tell they are angelfish.

My wife was playing with the lights in that room, sometimes when you vary the light they will tend to swim to the top, bottom, or one end. Besides the 2 ceiling lights with dimmers, there are lights on 3 out of the 9 tanks, as well as a vertical florescent in the corner of the room, and a clip on trouble light that you can put almost anywhere. I've noticed that when you dim the lights, the fry tend to swarm together, so I'm guessing that's what she did. I should have been watching what she was doing instead of watching the tube, would have probably learned something!

Thanks again, you've all really made her day!
