ok i have 1 convict cichild male , one female pink convict cichlid, 4 danios. i never read up on if danios were a little aggresive but they killed 5 mollies, and 4 platys. so i wanted to put somethign aggresive in it with the danios did i make a bad mistake with cichild? They are in a 15 gallon tank when would i need to upgrade?also i have a 10 gallon tank in my room so how should i disperse them? like soon i want to put in more fish but i dont know what fish u reccomend any fish tht can go with cichlid wolfs look nice just any suggestions i will like ty.

Could you please tell me how the danios killed the mollies and platys ? cause thats not possible, its more a uncycled tank killed them.
Wolf cichlid needs alot least a 75 gallon on its own,
and convicts need atleast a 20 gallon, ten gall is way too small.

no they killed them the whole group starting killing them i had the fish in there the mollies and platys for 2 months in there then i added danios well do u suggest what tank i should get and how long before i ahve to get it and is it good my convicts are nto showing aggression towards danios

They will show agression very soon and WILL kill them , but they are fast, in they end oyu have have loads of fry , and need much more tank space
Oh and pink convicts and black convicts are the same, they wont produce hybrid fry

well should i move my danios to the 10 gallon tank and keep the convicts into the 15 gallon. well couldn't u feed the wolf cichilid or convicts tetra. would the pink convict and black and white convict breed and how long u think till they show aggression. how long do i got to get a new tank

a pair of convicts need a 30g tank, in a matter of up to 2 months i would say depending on how big they are now.
danios need the 20g.
no need to feed fish live food when there are better no-diseased pellets for cichlids.
wolf cichlid will need a 75g as saboy said depending on size will tell how long away this is.

Yea I suggest moving the danios into the 10 gallon, put the convicts into the 15 gallon,
And with the convicts being male and female , they will breeding soon, proly up to 3 weeks time, then you will have up to 200 fry, depending on how big the convicts are, If the fry live and grow, the water condition will start to get bad in the 15 gal, unless you do lots of water changes, also the parents could think that their space is getting crowded and start eating the fry,
You will be best with getting a 30 gallon tank asap for the convicts then you have the 10 and 15 gallon to use.

i got some more questions ty guys for the help so far. how do i tell the difference of the pink convict and the black and white one they stay apart from eachother one in a rock other one behind the filter a lot ? the danios are swimming at the top b/c there scared of the convicts im going to move the danios tommorow, to the 10 gallon. do u know how much a 30 gallon would be? do u think if there not interacting is b/c there both male or something?

For the price for a 30 gallon, that depends, where do u live ? And what do u need, a stand, filter lighting? all of this ? first need to know where u are so we can here in that section.
Do u know how to tell male from female ? if not here is how anyway, males have longer and pointed fins, and a easy way to tell females is orange spots on her belly, and shorter more rounded fins.

could be there are both female or both male, males have more pointed dorsal fin then females.
could be there aren't used to the tank or water conditions are bad.....
