I would guess a tire track eel. It is definitely not one of the smaller Asian varieties (their caudal fin is separate from the rest).

Yeah, the combination of the 3DS camera and a fast moving eel just don't go together. Well, we returned him this morning anyways. I wasn't willing to take the chance. Thank you guys though ^_^
