Thanks again, setting up a hospital tank is not an option in this case, so would any of the treatments u suggest affect the other inhabitants of my tank. I have: 1 Silver Shark 3 Cherry Barb 9 Zebra Danios 4 Dalmation Molly's 2 Ghost Shrimp, and 1 Mountain Shrimp. thanks.

Looks nothing like that, sorry. looks more horizontal than vertical (if you get what I mean) and has a lot more and longer "whiskers" the mouth looks more like a slit on the front of it's head (rather than downturned) will have to try and get a pic on my phone and post it when i get home...

One of my Zebra Danios seems to be missing a gill cover! it was there a few hours ago, no signs of any other damage. it is kept with 2 other Zebras, 3 cherry barbs and an albino catfish. any ideas? many thanks
