I got the tank up and running. I have the convict in there and I also have a rosy red minnow in it as well. She watches the minnow and follows it sometimes, but she hasn't tried to hurt it.. So if I might get more of those.. They are $.13, so it seems safe.

Do petco/petsmart usually sell them? My local petstore has such a small variety and it is never keeping the same fish. I was hoping that some small fish can live with cichlids though, so there can be a little more movement in the tank.

Thats what I have been doing, but I don't want to put anymore fry in that tank. It's not that big, and there is a lot of fry in it.

So it's normal for her to be this big? She sometimes hides, but she is eating normal and hangs with the other female, how might have her fry soon.

Thats how my guppy is. She had about 20 fry and afterwards she looked thinner, but shortly after she was larger and gravid spot is darker.
