Many thanks. I switched the filter off then just disconnected the bottom tubes allowing me to screw the elbow in.   The filter is still rattling though. will need to open it up soon.

So i assume best way to do this is to switch it off, turn off the pipes and disconnect them, then turn that elbow round until it tightens?   Might do this tonight.

Hello   Is there any tools out there for placing food at the bottom of the tank?        I find that my bottom feeding fish are getting a raw deal. The flakes I place at the top don't make it down.

If I raise it more it would be too high. Is there any harm not having a spray bar fitted?

I have a Eheim classic filter. I find the spray bar really noisy. I have tried all different angles but is still annoying. Do I have to put thenspray bar or can I let the water just fall out the pipe?

Hey We have two orange fish (I can't remember the type) and one is pretty lifeless at the bottom of the tank. I thought he way dead so went to get him out and he moved and started swimming. But is again on the bottom of the tank. I had a water test and all come back perfect. What could be wrong?

Thanks, that orange one i posted about above is still stalking the other Guppys, one of which now has a messed up tail. I am going to take it back to the shop today.
