well 100 watt incandescent is like 20 watts pc, so u should just get the screw in 20 watt 50/50 pc's and then u could have 40 watts of pc for each of them

well if its gonna be SW again probably a yellow clown globy, but if your turning it into FW then yes a betta

well for most sw fish u need around an 8.0 pH, maybe a lil higher ;)

wow my LFS has them for $17 i got my 2 for $30, but saddly my blue turq died because of pH spike, luckily i had some buffers so my other one(dont kno what kind yet) is still alive. Congrats on the new discus, gotta luv them B)

is your tank totally stock or did u retrofit some more lighting in it? cause im getting one for christmas and right now i have a 30gallon with metal halides on it, but ur corals look like they're doin great :flex:

very nice, and way to go taking out all the filtration, they;re just nitrate factories for SW. the DX is a lot better and if u put some more lights in the DX u could get a lot more corals ;)

i have 2 of them, mine are about 3-4" rite now but they get up to 8-12" long, they are not fussy eaters and they are pretty hardy :cool:

they are ok but their fish info is a little bad, it said for a mandaring dragonet/goby that they eat flakes and brine shrimp, which they dont, they eat pods, and ur lucky if u can get them to eat anything else, but their fish selection does look ok :thumbs:

fine im making a refugium out of a ac500, getting a aquaC remora skimmer, and getting sum 50/50w coralife bulbs :shifty: well since i have an 18 tall and it is the same dimensions on top as the 10 im gonna get 20lbs of LR, some LS dont kno how much yet, and then the clean up crew will b added...

wow did u read any of my first post, i want to kno ur opinions about what the best way to acclimate the fish and coral would b, i already kno what im gonna heat, light, and filter it with. i already have a book and people are telling me how to do it, im sorry i like having opinions before i rush...

ive seen 5 gallons done with BABY clownfish, but they can only be in there for so long :/

u might not wanna buy them as they will probably die from being dyed, it would be best to look into other naturallt good looking cichlids :lol:

haha u just reminded me of wut i did one time when i was like 7 i put a snail from outside into my sisters marine tank, she got so mad, not makin fun of u just dont do it cause you'll end up with a dead snail with bacteria in a healthy fish tank

chribela u could get some mbunas but ur i. shark will not survive but it will be a colorful tank, and thats a senegal bichir in dwarfs sig

on the side of the thing it says ur supposed to stick it onto the side of ur tank and thats wut i do and they nibble at it 1 by 1 its pretty cool, maybe its different for u guys but that workd for me its sorta like a bird feeder for fish :D

well we have marine science and the guy has a bunch of fish tanks but there all saltwater(duh...)but u cant take it until ur a junior and im a sophmore :(
