My dalmation mollys have large speckles of golden colour on them, ones head has nearly turned fully gold, they are about 3 months old bred by myself, really confused!

my mollys have eaten my main plant and i now only have 3 really small ones, there isnt many hiding places for my fish though. will they be ok for a few days :/?

personally I would only keep either shrimp or 1 male betta in a 25 ltr tank :)

I have 2 sterbais and 2 albinos all the same age baught at the same time and the sterbais are tiny, they dont grow as big as others usually. dont worry theres nothing wrong with them :)

In my personal experience having the wrong female to make ratio with platys can really stress the females out as he will constantly be trying to mate with her so she may be seeking hiding spots to have a bit of peace, maybe try adding another female?

I posted a few days a go he was being bullied by the other male, I rehomed the bully and hoped my other make would just get better but ive realised how small he is to my 2 female platys anyway hes looking very pale and his scales look like they are standing up its very strange, hes so skinny...

I dont know what to do, I have 4 platys 2 male and 2 female and one of the males is bullying the other male, all his fins have been nipped. Theres plenty of plants and hiding spots for them so hopefully some will survive!

as i dont have anywhere to put the fry when she drops so its just gonna be whoever gets hidden the best survives, Ill probably only keep one of her first lot of fry and the rest are going too my LFS :)

Thats discusting, why do people think its right to keep fish in conditions like this!?!?! Some people are absolute idiots! :| i'd be definately wiling to rescue them, i might actually put in an offer.

Im really sorry but you wouldent even get one in there, they can grow up too 7cm. and they require a 20 gallon aquarium to be happy. :(

ok so i think my mollies going to pop anytime soon, Ive got a little tank about 9 litres im planning on keeping them in if she goes this weekend, do they need a filter? :S if they do im not too fussed about keeping them in the main tank, I know theres a possibility they might get eaten!

For gravel a colander will do :) boil the kettle and just put it over the sink and pour it over just keep shaking the colander as you go :)

seen as its plastic if you have a hot water bottle fill it up and lean it against the tank and push them right up to a wall so its really pushing on the plastic, that should be fine. if you do it just before you go to bed it should be fine over night just for one night :D
