    Lots of people raise rabbits and eat them. I would happily do that too. Who cares what you say they were "meant" to be. If you've ever lived on a farm you'd know that there is a very fine line between pets and food.

    I live in San Diego where the ocean is so dirty from us, LA, and Tijuana, yet people still catch and eat fish right off the pier. I grew up catching and eating Catfish right out of murky lakes in Georgia. I don't understand why that is acceptable but not eating unwanted Mollies. I'm getting...

    Why would they carry more or less disease than fish caught in a local lake or ocean?

    No, I really am serious. My roommate thinks it's weird too. I don't understand why. I think it's wasteful and cruel to just kill them and get nothing from them at all. People eat whole little fish all the time, but I don't know if Mollies are safe.

    My roommate and I recently (1 year ago) set up our tank. We had a few Mollies at first and have been quiet successful at breeding them...too successful. We have decided to get rid of all the males to prevent overcrowding in our tank. We looked here at the best (most humane) ways to kill them...
