im setting up a 44 gallon corner tank for a puffer tank. basically i dotn know the first step as to taking care of them? i just planned on having sand as the substrate, live plants, mostly amazong sword...possibly some grass like plants. and then some puffers. now can puffers go together? or how...

im not about the oscar, i had one before...not for me. i did mean to say cardinal tetras..sorry. i think im either going to go with my first idea, either the neons or the cardinal tetras. its a toss up at this point.

should i use java moss or xmas moss? which one grows faster? which one does better in lower lighting, and which one has less mantinance to it?

ok i just got a better look at it. its making his left gill stick way out and its a redish tint with a red dot in it, looks kinda like a fish egg. hes just swimming in circles. but then again he never was the smartest fish in the world.

i have a few test kits, but nothing for bacteria. hes been like this for over 5 months now tho, and has changed tanks. do you really think it could be a infection?

there is a plant growing in the yard. its like a clover looking thing and it looks really neat. if i got a bunch of it by the roots would it grow in the tank? i have sand in my tank so that would kind of be like dirt.

you should just go to a hardware store and replace the hose part. usually its only like 50 cents a foot or something like that. i got 4 foot of 5/8" hose for 1.33. not bad at all, and much more convienient seems like it would be hard to get the sypthon going though with a 50 foot tube.

it just looked big, but look at the cables on the side of it. and going to that router. the router cant be more than 6 inches long. so really it doesnt look that big.
