aHH cOol. U know, i tried using a flash light and it worked really NIce. It's just you can't really keep it on 24 hours. the batterey would run out maybe by the 8th hour. But the affects it does is pretty amazing. Especially when your in dark room. I flashed it down and it lookes like thoughs...

probably, because my 2 otos always mess with my shark and the way the shark swims, IM like woah she can jump out the tank almoust..you should keep a cover on the tank or might have to isolate the shark so it has territory for itself. It's usualy calm when they're on their own.

I just use anything I find in the house that's ceramic or like made of clay or something. I got this leaning tower of piza I might use and all you have to do boil the crap out of it, and then let it cool and add it to the tank...I have ALot of drift too that I juss boil up real good to be safe.

yup..i got a rainbow shark an 2 otos that help alot in cleaning...for me, when they seem eaten everythin...(which might not be the case because they're always finding something to eat)..i just pop in a zuchinni and rubber band it on a rock or something and my otos or rainbow shark take nibbles...

also depends how rich your food is. you can feed your fish but sometimes if the food is too rich, that might also cause algea to build up quicker. I just heard this from a guy so if I'm wrong, don't blame me.

i got 2 otos and a raimbow shark. I always see them 2 otos being chased by my shark. really funny how they chase each other :lol: . My rainbow shark hides in the pagoda and the oto just comes in and then he chases it out and then the other oto comes in and just settles in his place. Funny. Yea...

i dont know about all that, but i have this like ointment that takes away ammnoia, nitrate, chlorine, chloramine, and other things. It's really, really good. It's called PRIME. It's a little bottle and the outside cover is like burgandy red. Doesn't cost much either! about $5.00 in the U.S. :cool:
