    Livebearers are known for eating their fry. As soon as my guppy was done giveing birth, she was after her fry like she hadn't eaten in days. Did you check under the decorations?

    What type of platy do you have? If its a red wag or lyretail then its the molly. If your platy is a light colored mickey mouse, then it could be both. when the fry get to be about 15 days old, you should be able to tell. Put one of the fish in a floating breeder tank in the big breeder tank...

    Pregnant livebearers have gestation periods of 20-40 days. Most drop by about the 28. I would most likely say that your missing them. Lift up the decorations in your tank. Those little squirts can fit anywhere. GOOD LUCK!! :)

    Your male could be sterile. If you want guppy fry, I would purchase another male to cause a little competition like in the wild.Make sure that it doesn't cause too much competition. If it does, just add more females. Good luck :fun:
