so im best to move the rams to a lone setup with higher temp and sofeter water etc, paradise and cherrys in my bio setup. and the rest should be fine wheree they are?

The tank is currently at 27 ph 7.2 and all is going well. Everything seems happy, eating and growing fine! The barbs and paradise will be moving to a kindv bio type I'm setting up for them atm.

Im hoping its a female, both pics are the same fish, the male im pretty sure on, longer dorsal, alot more red on the fins and the throt is alot redder. ill keep my fingers crossed and hope. how big before they get as colourfull as yours wesstwood? fantastic looking fish you have there

:rolleyes: Well its been 3 months now since i upgraded to this tank, a few plants are suffering but most of the damage was done by a juvi severum which was in for 2 weeks. Abit overstocked for now but bigger tank will be due later in the year and im running 2 filter for now to help cope with it...

Its a small royal plec. will be rehomed to a 200l when he grows abit with some severums hopefully. of my local lfs has offered to take him when he ges to 6''

quick update! new fish, more growth and before anyone says it the severum is only there till my big tank is cycled! All ideas/thoughts and opinions appriciated!

Yes they are rommy nose tetras, added some corys and 8 cardinals yesterday and some moss. Ill add an updated pic tonight.

Thanks its only been planted 4 weeks and it growing well just waiting for it all to fill and going to add some moss to the wood.
