Thanks for the help. I am pretty sure we have an ornate Bichir, based on pics I have seen. I hate to do it, but maybe it would be best to sell the Bichir and the loach. Do you think a pet store might take them off my hands?

Really? I knew I needed to get him some friends, but I didn't know he would outgrow the tank. The lady I bought the tank and fish from had these fish for years. What size tank do they need? Thanks. :)
