Hi Peeps I Bought A So Called "Blue Filter Shrimp" from my lfs and i cant seem to find any information about them. Does anyone have any information about them. I spoke to my lfs and that confirmed to me thats what they are called. :dunno:

Hi peeps i bought some water flea to feed my fish today and they didnt eat them all. Is it okay to leave them in my tank. I would love it if they started to bread because i wouldnt need to feed my fish. Any ideas????#

Hi peeps discovered 1 snail in my tank 3 weeks ago, discovered 2nd snail 4 days ago, discovered 4 baby snails today and have also discovered eggs. What are they gonna do to my tank, I have lots of nice plants :( will my african dwarf frog eat them when he gets bigger???

How will activated carbon remove the tannis i thought carbon is only used to remove chemicals after medication in my tank, will it remove the tanning of my water?????

Hi i just started a new tank with sand, i let it settle and switched it on i came back today and my water has a tinge of blue/green i used aquasafe (removes chlorine etc) but i fear that i put too much in. Its not my light thats making it look blue what is it? :dunno:

I got the fluval 3+ and it is very powerful i reduced the flow but i seem to have the whirlwind like yours. But the fluval 3+ has mad my sand look so so good, its given it the texture of sea with waves of sand. :kewlpics: i will send some in

Hi i just put my new sand into my new tank. i cleaned my sand so it was nice and clean, i have left it in the tank with water for a couple of hours and the water is still murky but the sand has settled. Can i switch on my filter to clear the water up? :S
