Anyone Here Kept Bettas In Really Hard Water?

Hi, You may be on to something about the water. I have had the same problem as you. I couldn't get my Bettas to be happy and content and normal. I have had 7 different bettas from different souces in the past few years. I am a germo-phobe and somewhat of a perfectionist and therefore, I always...

    Leopard Danio Keeps Swiming Vertically

I second that... I used to feed thawed out, frozen blood worms to my zebra danios, bettas and even my ghost shrimp. That was a year ago and, never mind the headache of constantly ( 3 times a week) changing the water due to cloudiness and murky water, they were always sick. I can't stress...

    Fizzy Bubbleh

Kool. Will def. Look into myxazin. May have to find a local alternative for this med but will get on it ASAP. I will however, invest in a filter with the option for a spray bar as it is a nice effect too. Thanks dipsydoodlenoodle. I appreciate your help.

    Betta Hunting Through The Gravel

I used to think there were little parasites in the gravel that the bettas would be hunting for, until I found my Betta searching the gravel after a full water change. I then realized that he was either searching the gravel for bits of food or he were cleaning his tank. Could be a bit of both...
