Hmmmm i had the same problem and my water started going a bit cloudy.. But i think i was feeding to much.. I cut my feeding down to once a day and now it dont get a chance to sink to the bottom and my water is starting to look alot clearer :)..

I made me own out off a coke bottle and a piece off garden hose :) Works like a dream... Maybe a little 2 well as its soooo fast lol.. Fills a bucket in like 30 seconds.
