My 3 discus hopefuly about to sporn.

Don't worry it took me 3 weeks to get my discus to eat pellet the best way that i found was to get a cup of tank water and put the pellet in for a couple of mins to soften up after about 2 weeks they will eat them dry hope this helps If you need help with anything els with your discus then email me.

Hi fish503. I keep Lamprologus signatus (golden ocellatus) in a ten gallon tank. Thay are one of the smallist cichlids of all at about 3-4 cm and great little fish to keep and very easy breed. :D

Hi Juanveldez. I've found melafix to be very good for open wounds on fish. It's made from tea tree so it is a very good antibactit and great at repairing open wounds and damaged fins. Have a look at www.aquariumpharm.com Hope your fish is beter soon. :D KDW

I don't think he is stessed as i have two a breeding pair and thay are both this colour also when thay do get stressed thay will go almost black also when thay are ready two breed thay will have 5 two 6 bars down there sides. Thanks for your help kdw

no i have had him for two years in the same tank.

My girlfriend was sold this fish as a 5 bar cichlid which it's not but from time to time it has 5 to 6 bars on its side. Do you think it is from the neolamprologus group. I have no probs with the fish it live happly in my Tanganyikan tank i wood just like to no what it is. Thanks KDW.
