Hi everyone, I've had this cory for about a year now and today he's developed a sort of sparkle in his gill area. It looks almost like a dab of silver glitter. I have Googled it and everyone seems to say it's normal, but I wanted to see if anyone here had their own input. Thanks

Do you think these are good for an adult guppy and platy? I understand that these pellets are for small fish but I'm wondering exactly how small they mean - thanks.

Water specs are perfect. I've haven't changed my amount of water changes. Is that supposed to help beat parasites? :blush:

You're correct, she stays at the top, and breathes fast, and has been doing so since this whole thing started (2 weeks ago?). She has eating properly too (flakes and peas) but it made no difference. I think she might be finished. If she doesn't get better soon I will probably... well you know... :/

Alright, here is what I did. 5 min bath in epsom salt water 3 min rinse in tank water I'll try doing this once a day for the next few days and see how it goes.

Yeah, the rhizome is exposed, I rubber banded the plants to little round stones, which then got buried halfway into the sand. I hope they'll be ok, I don't keep my light on much.
