I was just wondering....... I feed my beardie mealworms here and there....and I noticed that some have turned into beetles. Is it safe to feed them to my beardie? or should I just dispose of them? Right now the beetles are in a seperate container, away from my beardie. any help will be...

I have my female in a 33gal. it seems like she likes it. Beardies are awsome!!!! and so cute :wub:

lol.....thats cute......my sis's cat (a calaco (sp?)) ate a whole tub of butter that we accidentally left out for about half an hour.....lol, it was so funny! Now she knows to put the butter away as soon as she's done using it. :rofl:

ok....thanx I'm going to set up the 10gal. tonight and let it run for a while and then add the females, buy some plants later that week and add them to the tank. I'm not exactly sure when I'm going to add the bettas. Plus i cant find a good place to buy crown tails......wish me luck...

Well.....I was thinking of getting a 10gal. started and I wanted to put some FEMALE bettas together, plus I was thinking of adding a Java fern in as well. Could someone please tell how many bettas I could place in the tank with and without the java fern. Plus I was wondering if anyone knew...

pretty VT, nice buy....most of the betta's at our walmart look like they could died any moment..... :-(

I've heard that cloud minnows, african dwarf frogs, cories, get along w/ bettas But I heard that neons get beat up by the bettas -_-

plus from what I hear some crown tails...halfmoons...ect.....sometimes slip in to the mix. It all depends on how the fish were breed.......like if they used a huge tub with multi-breeding areas. DUNNO dont quote me...lol

I finally found a place that actually received crowntails.....I saw a mustard-gas....male I plan on doing alittle more breeding.........this time I WILL remove the male when they are free swiming. WISH ME LUCK :P :D

thanx for the imput...i've had them seperated, i have had them for about 5 weeks now. tank setup- I have the female right now in a 33gal. and the male in the 10gal. 33gal.-desertmix sand (which is actually ground nuts or something), a branch that was bought at a pet store(right side of tank)...

I have two bearded dragons, both of which are about 9" long (including the tail). I was wondering if anyone could help me. I saw my female bearded dragon shaking, then the shaking got worse. She vomitted up some crickets up that she had eaten not to long ago. Could she be sick or did she eat...

i've heard about some peoples betta's having blown tails or something...when ever i saw something like that, i though "ha...that sux" and nothing more of it...well, my betta, which the best tail form of all my betta's, and the best coloring, now has a shredded tail! he's soo...*ugh*....it don't...

I decided to leave my male betta in with the babies....because he was so good with his eggs...:byebye: he decided to eat all of his lil babies overnight.:byebye: the babies were 10 days old..................:rip: well.....as soon as i get my cultures throught the mail i'll let them have a big...

well....i heard that bettas cant refuse garlic :unsure: maybe try puttin a little garlic juice on the pellets....:) let us know if they start eatting soon the best of luck.....bettabub

well...in anyway, they've already done it and they are both doing very well right now. niether of them have endjured any biting or roughness besides the squeezeing. :thumbs:
