I upgraded my light. I was running two T12 10,000k and a T8 actinic. I know that was a bad light system, but it was what I had available. I replaced it with a 48" Odyssea T5 HO fixture. It has 2 T5HO 10,000k and 2 actinics along with 4 built in moonlight leds. I read mixed reviews on the Odyssea...

    First Marine Tank :)

That's great news about your manderine. It's great that that LFS will train the fish for you. That way you will be able to be sure it would eat what you are feeding.

    Powerheads

Place the powerhead side in the water where you want it and hold it there. Then take the other half and place it on the otherside of the glass away from where you have your power head held. Then slide that piece up to your powerhead. This should stop from them slamming together.

Yes a Banana wrasse. Although, I call it a canary wrasse lol. I ried to get a close pic of him, but he hides when I get close with camera. It's funny because I can get close to the tank without the camera and he won't hide lol. I have about 45lbs of live rock now. I have a internal and back...

Yes, I would like to get one. I might wait a little longer as my tank is finally starting to do really good now and I would hate to throw it out of whack with another fish. I would also like a Red Scooter Blenny.

    First Marine Tank :)

Your tank does look very nice. I like your corals. I just got a new Frogspawn coral. You should take a look at my journal. It's not as in depth as yours. I agree with seffie, the cleaner wrasse should stay qt'd till the wound goes away. My canary wrasse had a mark on his side but it healed nicely.

    My One Fish Looks Sick

My one fish looks like he has ich or velvet. I have medicine but there is noway I can catch him to put in a separate tank. He is clever and hides. I have corals and inverts so i cannot put he medicine directly in the tank. I do not know what to do. My other fish seem unaffected.
