it depends what sort of rock it grows on. i have some growing over coraline and its easy to peel off but the stuff that grows on the porous rough rock is really hard to shift. test results look spot on.

good read, just a shame the pics arent working. if you do an over and under set of baffles in the sump they will stop any micro bubbles being pumped back into the main tank. i would look at an alternative to the arcpod too, i wish id bought something else as the algaes dont grow very well...

your ph raises when the lights are on. the extra o2 increases the ph too. if you have a sump you can reverse light it to decrease the fluctuation in ph. i wouldnt say that sort of change is a problem though.
