Dog face puffer needs at least 90 gallon so it would be ok in that size tank. If you have a puffer you can't have any CUC like shrimps as they will be an expensive dinner. You will need to invest in a good skimmer as puffers are messy and produce a lot of waste. Can't comment on the other fish...

I ended up getting some juvenile Clarkii Clowns. Will take some pics tomorrow will let them settle in first.

How big is the Biorb life? My mum used to have the standard Biorb and i personally wouldn't keep any clownfish in that. What type of clownfish are you thinking of? They do grow quite large.

Thanks Donya glad I didn't get them. Would be gutted if I bought them and they died a couple of months later. I will wait for something else to catch my eye preferably something not as expensive.

They are nice fish, not seen anything like it in the UK.

TBF the female with pop eye was hiding in the anenome a lot and only came out once. They prob haven't noticed.

They were lovely fish but like you say I was put off by the price. The female was huge though lol.

Also like the tomato clowns but never really see them in the South West. The saddlebacks were really nice gutted the female had Pop eye. I have a 55 gallon so no issues there.

I lost my common clowns a couple of weeks ago and looking to replace them. I was in a LFS today and came across a pair of Maroons. The female was huge and a good 5 to 6 inches, I have never seen clowns this big. When I enquired to the cost I was quoted £95 which I though was a bit steep...

I have a Fluval Roma 200l and a Tunze nano reefpack which comes with internal skimmer - it does not look to bad tucked away in the corner and does a good job :) I can take a pic if you want so you get an idea?

Ocellaris also have black borders on the white bars. Percs black border is usually thicker. The best way to tell the difference is the number of spines on the dorsal fin - Ocellaris have 11 and rarely 10 Percula have 10 and rarely 9 Think I got that the right way round!

I have read it can eventually damage the fishes liver but not sure how true this is. I feed my fish garlic fish flake food every now and then.
