I know its not white spot and the spot on its back is more like a lump that is white in coulour and bigger than a grain of salt. I'm more concerned about the redness round the gills and the gasping for air. I do have an air curtain and 3 air stones in the tank

the white spot is a growth i think it is smooth small (about 2mm) and it sticks out slightly more than the rest of the fish's body

i have a 3ft tank with only 6 neon and 4 congo tetras i just checked my water again ammonia 0.0 mg\l nitrite 0.0 mg\l nitrate 5 ppm ph 7.5 my small tank was filled with water from my large tank and they register the same.

:unsure: At the moment he is nose down and he has stopped turning onto his side he is still eating and all his fins exept his tail fin work his tail fin just twitches once in a while. -_-
