My mollies have been acting very odd recently. they seem to 'sit' at the bottom of the tank, not really moving, for a few hours. after a while they seem fine, no problems, swimming around happy... The rest of the fish are fine though, in the tank i got 8 tiger barbs, 10 danios, 4 clown barbs...

I have got mollies, swordtails, clown barbs, bala sharks and tiger barbs with mine, they all get on well with each other, the bala sharks seem to school with me catfish and even seem to playfuly chase each other now and again... I have loads of hiding places (vegitation) and plenty of free swim...

I have been testing the water recently and all is good. The missing fish is puzzeling but i can only assume that it got eaten quickly... I have a feeling that its just a bit of a runt, its a healthy fish, swims well, interacts, is there at feeding e.t.c.

yes, tank was cycled, its reading have been zero for a long time now. They are in a 4ft tank at the moment, i know this is a touch too small but waiting on my 6ft tank to arrive. they are still only 2 inches at the mo so plenty of room for them...

In my tank i have got 3 silver sharks, well, i had 3 anyway. 1 has now gone missing, i have cleaned the tabk but no sign of it so i can only assume it died and got eaten before i noticed. Anyway, of the remaining 2 one is looking very healthy, nice silver colour, the fins have a lovely black...

Im due my first waterchange and am looking to do about 20%. Do i simply drain some out , top up and add the dechlorinating addative whilst the fish stay in the tank or do i need to treat the water first? Also what about temperature? I originally filled mine via my garden hose as this reaches...

i inherited the sharks from a friend who got them without researching. Mine is 200 litre tank. I have been told to start with the danios to help with the cycle, i have got a few filter pads from a friends established tank as well.

Just tested my water and have got the following results: PH = 7 - 7.5 Amonia = 0 nitrite = 0.1 nitrate = 10ppm At the moment i have got 10 zebra danio's and 3 silver sharks happily swimming around. Hoping to get some more tomorrow hence the question cheers

I got me a 4ft x 1.5ft x 1ft tank, i have worked it out to be about 180ish litres. The system at the moment has the undergravel tray with a pump in the two back corners. I havent got no 'filters' as such except the gravel, is this sufficiant or do i need to add anything else?? cheers
