ok i have one redtail in a 35 hex and looking to find what goes best with redtail so how about the yellow chichlid....i dont want barbs of any kind....and how many???? :drool:

i second that motion had two fish dye and the one that lived then was treated and all color came back. and he lived happy there after.

what type go good with red tail rianbow shark ? im looking for fish that will stay in the middle of tank like bala shark or even a tiger barb ????? :shout:

petco told me to use salt it helps i dont know if the stress coat did the trick or the salt but have not lost any fish since i have a red tail shark and a rianbow shark and a sucker fish also a silver tip shark..

:shout: i have seen two variations of red tails one is normal the other is a faded red and also the bodies the faded tail is also a lighter black . is this due to the faded tail black shark being a juvinile or ?????? :angry: :crazy: :sick:

i took a sample of my water to petco and my water is fine they didnt tell me they just got there fish so it was stress moveing from tank to tank.......so thank you im going to let tank run for few more days then try to add them again thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!

it is a 35 gallon two small redtails ans 1 silver tip shark and they died over nite...i may think it could of been the oxyegen level?????? we had them in a 5 gallon untill the hex was going for 24 hours they were fine in the 5 then went nuts in the hex 35

:shout: Hi i have a hex tank on on back 3 are mirrors i out my fish in and there colors have changed and there acting strested out is this due to the mirrors??? i have redtail and silvertip sharks.
