Thanks for that. I have the filter pointing at the glass and it's turned right down. Nice current running through the tank whihc is good for cleaning. I'll see if I can changed it so there are more outlets, or try one of thos air drivel sponge filters. Cheers.

Mine is a similar size tank, 24"*12*12 Also the Betta I have, red female I think, seems ok. Not botered in the slightest by the harlies.

Apologies for the photos, but you'll get the idea. Me mate has had these goldfish (although one has turned white -a while ago) for a few years and as you can see they are pretty big and have probs out grown the tank. Now, what to do? Would it be possible to sell them? Probably to someone...

I don't know alot but can reccomend the Harlies, I have 6, only had them for a week and they are good. Just dart about all day. By all accounts they are easy enough to look after as well. I also have a few shrimp, which at first were excellent, now they hide in my log all day.

What about angel fish? They look hard to look after tho.

Like I say, I do like the look of the fighters, but, I don't want to put something in if it's going to spend it's days beeing chased around by a group of little fish - hardly fair. I guess I should go to a pet shop and see what I like the look of and them come back here to see if it would be...
