the idea of a fish less cycle is so that you can FULLY stock it as soon as its cycled , according to the guide on here at least......

ive been thinking , and i need a better filter , the one ive been using is half the size it should be , so im buying a new filter the same as mine to double the turn over , 8 times an hour is about right ? also , im going to take out the 2 remaining nerites i have and show a little more...

it will be a while yet , i need to sell what i have 1st , until that happens ill just carry on with the fish ....

i don't know the name of the tank, its got a black base and the glass is blacked out too on the borders around the front its a 40 gal 39 inches wide 15 deep and 18 high comes with a t5 light unit , and 2 bulbs , good for plants i was told an ehiem external pump and a much MUCH smaller...

hello, its me AGAIN , with even more questions .... my tank is a 40 gal , currently i have 6 bumble bee gobys in there and 2 horned nerite snails , they have been in there for 4 weeks since i completed a fish less cycle , nothing has died and there is no algae growth , i do a 40 % water change...

when your tank is cycled , as long as its done properly you can FULLY stock it , so im led to believe

this is why i got rid of 3 of them , snails are just recycling machines ....

lol, i agree, but he is adamant that there MUST be something that will turn the sand round and hide to poop, if it dont eat it , hes doing my head in, lol i said get some f8 puffs they will eat the ###### snails, lol

ive recently gave away 3 horned nerite snails , and in 3 days they have already started to mess up my mates 30 gal with poop, ive told him the only way to clear it is with a vac , but ive been begged to ask the question , is there any other kinda bottom feeder , plec or other that will clear...
