Mine are. I have never had a problem with them and salt. I only use the salt to treat illness. Then remove it with water changes.

Mollies are not usually agressive I agree. Male mollies do become bullies to other males when they are trying to make the point that they are the leader of the pack. They want all the females to them selves. Also if the females in your tank have babies they will become food for all fish in the tank.

I have platies, swordtails, neon tetras, frogs and crab in with mine and everyone gets along great.

I would suggest either a 5 gal or 10 gal. I would do the 10 gal.
