The fins are exactly like that, but the body is more streamline in shape and not as colorful--they are more a flat silver. I'm disappointed that i didn't get the fish i really wanted. My own fault for not doing more research :(

Well, it seems like the initial 48 hours was the worst. I haven't seen any new battle scars in the past couple of days and they seem to be mellowing out. I didn't mention this, but they do have tank mates, so i don't think i want to add any more fish. Thanks for the comments and advice!

You have some fish with drastically different Ph preferences. I've heard that mollies tend to get ill if they aren't kept in hard, alkaline water, and some of your other choices (corys, glass catfish) prefer soft, acidic water.

Looks great! As for the needs of the plants, it depends on what kind you have. Some plants are very demanding in terms of light, fertilizer etc, others are very easy to grow. I recommend cryptocoryn wendtii for low light tanks. It comes in many varieties and is super easy to grow.
