ok thanks, will give that a try. i just dont understand why when i had co2 set up first time round it never came off and its the same diffuser. baffled me!

having got my co2 back up and running again i changed the co2 tubing as the old tube was leaking a little, so i put it on to my glass and ceramic diffuser, i get bubbles out like im supposed to, all is good. but then the tube keeps popping off from the stem from the diffuser. why is this...

it feels too heavy to be empty, does this wheel turn more than a "slight turn" as i dont want to force it, it only turns each way a small amount...

ok so it wasnt that hexagon nut as it start spraying out at me... why is there no pressure on the gauges? nothing working? is it a case of attaching pressure reducer and then turn the tap or knob whatever you want to call it about 5 degrees at the most and it should then let out the co2?? please...

being new to the refillable cannister's, is the needle valve the little hexagon nut on the back side to the thread where i would attach the pressure reducer???

i dont understand as i only have turned the knob about 3 times in total. it was when i opened it, then i closed it and added the electrovalve. i turned it again to let the co2 through and no pressure on the gauges at all though?? thats what i dont get. surely it cant be empty??

have used co2 lots of times but this is the first time i am using a refillable cannister. i had put the attachments on and before i added my electro valve i twisted the knob on top to see if the pressure went up on the gauges and it did, it was hissing (for max of 3 seconds) so i turned the knob...

i had a d and d co2 bottle from aqua essentials and it lasted around 4 weeks, then i bought the slightly cheaper one on their website and its lasted just over a week!! what happened there?? i havent done anything to it or adjusted flow up or down, cant hear any leaks from it but went down far...

i have got any update!! i dont know how long she would hold her eggs but she has been like this for a few weeks. she still swimming around happy as any of the others too!!

i got 14 neons so i guess the chances are at least one must be a bloke!!

i hope the stalk!! she has not lost any colour and is bright and acting normal apart from the hovering of the plants at times. how long before she should drop the eggs>?

it is still as big if not slightly bigger... how long should she be full of eggs before dropping? as its been a little while now and hope she is ok, she certainly swims normally!! she does hover around one area sometimes and protects it when other neons are near by. any more ideas?

right, i'v e cut back on the light time, 8 to 1 and 7to 9 as get a fair bit of light in the room. Its slowed the algae a bit but its still growing! What else can i do, i.m feedin less than i used to but even this is making me think its not enough food for the poor fish. Please help me even more...

i know its not the best picture but i think it may be pregnant, its always this size before and after eating, my other neons are much smaller, sometimes they get bigger after eating but not this size. pregnant or not?

i was just thinking of adding them to my main tank to eat a bit of algae here and there and add some character

i fancied getting a couple of cherry shrimp, i have a 120litre tank with 3 swordtails, 14 neon tetras and 2 yoyo loaches, am i silly in getting a couple of cherry shrimp in with this lot? if not will 2 be ok or more be better for them?

it is opposite a window but the sun only gets near it during late afternoon, it never actually shines on it. will try to close the curtains if i can!!!

im noticing my amazon sword plants are being eaten.... im fairly sure its my yoyo loaches that are wrecking them, what can i feed them to make (help) them stop attacking them!! would a vegetable tablet type thing help?

a so i didnt write that ppm bit wrong, yes i am getting around 50-60 bubbles a minute, im still waiting for my drop checker to arrive, i was just worried that that level of bubbles would be bad for the fish over night

Now that i have my ferplast energy classic and a 2ltr bottle diy setup workin... finally!! I noticed that the bubbles per minute are very rapid, im counting around 50-60per minute. Im sure that the correct amount is 30 per minute, but is this only for pressurised canisters or does it apply for...

as i have left it over night i can hear it "fizzing" so i guess thats part of the process, will give it good shake tonight when im home from work if nothing happened by then. thanks for the help!
