Well I just checked all my levels, everything is at 0 and ph is 8.3 Where should I go from here? I am waiting on some cured rock, hopefully it will be here tomorrow. Should I add more of a CUC? I have 5 Nass, 3 Astrae, 1 Scarlet Reef Hermit, and 1 Dwarf Blue Leg Hermit. Any suggestions?

Well, I noticed that all the algae on the new rocks is hair algae, last night when the lights were off I noticed that about 10 or 15 stoma snails were about and about. My levels went down a little bit since adding the rock, and I have a lot more cyano and brown algae now, hopefully I'll start...

Well today my heater malfunctioned to the point of failure and the temperature got up to around 84.7, a few hours later I noticed little things floating around that looked like little shrimp or similar creatures. It's been about 10 hours since I added the sand and the rock and here is what's up now: I've already got algae growth on the sand and the piece of live rock is attaching itself to the sand, so far, so good.

So I have this heater and whenever the light comes on it makes some strange noises, and it does not seem to want to stay on? I contacted petsolutions about a return and they are going to refund me the money when I send it back to them, but my question is does any one here have some experience...

Alright here are the pics: This is about 4 hours after I added the salt, and the aqueon 10 that will eventually be used as a fuge. about 5 minuets after I added sand.

Here's where we sit now, all levels are at 0, sg is 1.023, temp fluctuating between 74-76. I added 10lb of live sand and 10lb of dead sand, and a cup full of live sand and crushed coral from the lfs. Added the salt just a while ago, took some pictures, I'll post them up later. I'll be testing levels in the morning and then adding sand and rock tomorrow. I went to buy water at the store and they looked at me like I was crazy for buying 25 1 gallon jugs of water.

Ok well after some thinking, I have a spare aqueon 10( 100gph ) HOB that I might use as a fuge for chaeto, that would bump my flow up to 365gph which should be pretty nice. I am getting about 25 gallons of water tomorrow for the tank, and hopefully salt too so I won't have to run out on Friday...
