Love my tigar barbs yes the more the better, some people say that they nip the fins of their fish. i reckon the ones i have are exceptions they don't mess with my other fish.

Hi I have 7 tigar barbs (read some were that you need atleast 6 and they pretty much leave the other fish alone) thats the case with me mine don,t mess with my silver dollars,gouramis, clown loaches etc. u mite can try 6 and see if its works for you.

a group of silver dollars would look good, they are peaceful fish i have a few of them in my tank, and a group of tigar barbs others people seem to have trouble with tigar barbs but mine hasn't messeswith the other fish they get along fine and i have 4 clown loaches in with the silver dollars...
