T splitter you can get from your local lfs and the brass nipples, these are used for the fuel injection systems for model racing cars, boats, planes etc, any good modelling shop should stock them

API test kits are good if you can get them, failing that you can always ask your lfs (local fish supplier) to test your water but always remember to ask them to explain your results as most will say "water's fine mate", and yes substrate is gravel or sand or plant enhancing.

Hi Ilya I think you have everything to get you started. To kick things off all you really need is tank, heater, filter and ammonia, dechlorinator, water test kit (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate)...and of course water lol. When you are cycling (fishless) your tank it will take approx 4 to 6 weeks...
