There are fish traps out there but they won't work with sick fish because most likely they will refuse to eat anything. You shouldn't have a problem catching a sick fish.

There's a few things you could do. 1. Remove fish to a QT and treat with Melafix or Maracyn. 2. Leave fish in the tank it's in and treat with melafix or maracyn. 3. Don't treat with any meds just make sure your water quality is very clean and hope it clears up. I would go with number 1.

Your fish has internal parasities, prazipro/metro should fix the problem. You can also soak food in a little prazi mixed with water. that will get into their system a whole lot quicker than treatin the tank.

People don't realize but chromis will kill each other if the tank is too small. They will do this until they are satisfied with the number left. So it will come down to the strong will survive and the weak die.

Are you sure the Niger Trigger doesn't eat invertebrates??????? I have had one before that did eat snails and hermit crabs and my friend had one that eat his cleaner shrimp. Maybe yours was a rare one that didn't do that.
