i use water conditioner as well as the blackwater extract. i never changed the water as i was under the impression to start changing the water when the fry are 1 week old and i havent got that far yet.

water is 80'. the water is straight from the tap but heated to correct temp and conditioned with blackwater extract, but isnt left for any period of time. and the male is doing a good job. its something that i am doing im sure of it. i have been giving them a little liquifry but i think that...

why cant i keep fry alive? they usually last for about 2 days and then gone. water parameters seem fine. i have tried removing the male but thats even worse. the only thing i can think of is that its un filtered. would this be a problem? also water is about 6" deep.

He is a half moon betta. its his first spawn. no the eggs are not falling he is definately eating them. shall i remove him and hope for the best?

She spent 2 days in the bottle in with him so they get used to one another. They are in together now but she isnt very interested and he just carries on building his nest. But they havent been fighting or anything.i will try and post some better pics.
