I might soundl like a horrible betta owner, but I honestly don't know. I change the water in his bowl daily, and he's been fine untill the last day or so. I read on bettatalk.com (I think... :/ ) and from their discription, it kind of sounds like swim bladder..?

Hello, My betta PT, (Prince Terrian) has somthing wrong with him, and I don't know what! He's really pale for one. He looks like he has trouble swimming to the bottom of his bowl, then when he gets there, he floats back up on his side and kinda floats at the top of the water but in a normal...

Does anyone have sand in the bottom of their tanks? I have a friend who has a tank with a sand bottom and it looks really nice. I've been thinking about using it for a community tank, or a tank of girls. The only thing is, I'm not sure how you would go about cleaning the tank without getting...

I'm going out of town in a few weeks and I'm not sure how to handle my boys. I really don't want someone to have to come feed them twice a day and change their water. (Water should be fine though, its only like 3 days, and their tanks are all 1.5 gal+) What do you guys do?

I have a two 2.5 gallon tanks each with one fish in them. They both have heaters and I change the water every couple days. But no matter how many times I change the water, I keep getting tons of algae on my plants, rocks, and other figures in my tank! :angry: Any suggestions?

hah, no I have four seperate tanks. I can't immagine what would happen if I had my boys together.. They go flare crazy seeing eachother through the tanks! :/ The tanks have been up for a few months. I had two of them in one tank with a divider at one point, and only the fish on the filter...

Okay, I have four betta boys. Two are in tanks with no filters and the other two are in tanks with filters. I've noticed the boys in the filtered tanks having some tail dammage. The current is as little as it can get, and barely looks like it moves the water. I'm concerned about my guys though...

I disagree with Guppys. I was stupid and tried that once... It didn't turn out well for my guppys.. :/ But, I have heard that Otos, Corys, and Ghost Shrimp make compatable tank mates! I would say put him in the 5 gal. and Try some otos or corys. And if that doesn't work out, you can always...
