my tank did the same thing...so we called petsmart (thats where we got it). they said to bring it back and get a new one. the tank was fully stocked so we bought a new tank (upgrade! :good: )and siphoned the water into the new tank. then we returned the old one. idk if that is what you are going...

do you have live plants in your tank? if so, the snails came from those plants. for future reference rinse the new plants in salt water before putting them in your tank! i had an outbreak and had to learn the hard way too! :good:

i know exactly how you feel. i get so excited about getting fish! but if you get anymore the chemical balance will be messed up. wait until the neons die or get a new tank before you begin breeding the guppies. remember...what are you going to do with the babies??? :/

i have a pregnant platy. she is currently in a breeder basket and seems a little stressed. i have been reading other users posts and i am thinking now that i should put some plants and marbles in a corner and release the female and see what happens. i do have a gourami and a betta in the tank...
