There's Something Strange In The Neighbourhood

I am guessing the water source is adding some buffers to the water. Where I am at, the water is 5.2PH, and they add a PH buffer to make it 7.0PH, as to not have the acidicness break down pipes with a lower PH. It could be something with that buffer that is masking the ammonia

    75g

Thank you for your kind words =). @LetsBeFriends Thanks =) @invader The shadowing is something I enjoy. I like how the cories are able to just sit in the shade parts and feel safe, and visible. @Bryan The fish have a lot of places to hide in the tank. I added a smaller gap in the very back...

    Threads Don't Load

Yeah in IE 6 they have some timeout things they do, but do not tell the end-user about them. It would possibly happen when the servers are being heavily loaded and can not process the rest of the page. Usually a refresh should fix it.

Will These Fish Eat My Amanos

They might not eat them, but they certainly will be hiding a lot of the time.

    Ph And Co2

I will take some measurements in the morning. And the tannins could do it, though they had been in another tank for a while, and the water color had not changed at all, though, could still be the case.

    Weather/khuli Loach

Khuli's will eat anything they can fit into their mouths. I have seen them go for fungus on fish, and really small snails. They seem to do a good job getting the small ones around the tank, thus solving a snail problem over time :).

    Clown Loaches

I am not 100% sure, but a) I feel they need to be in groups, like 6 or so. I think they get up to 6"+, though someone can answer that one better.

    Ph And Co2

I currently have a CO2 setup on my tank, and a PH controller. When I first put my PH controller in there, it seems I had PH of about 6.6. Then, I got a piece of Mopani wood in there, and it seems over the course of a couple of days, my PH is now from 5.0 -> 5.4. All of my fish enjoy it on the...

    Amano Shrimp......gone

I feel the Siamese Algae Eater could be to blame, possibly. With all the dangling parts of the shrimp, he might just think it's food and try to take a bite. They sometimes are not in the best of shape, and considering they came from petsmart, this could be the case. Though, could it be possible...

    Lampeye Killifish

I have just picked up 6 of these guys, and didn't realize they were shoaling fish. They do see happy to just rush around the tank. They do not seem to school as much, but could be from the lack of numbers, but they do certainly like to be around one another. They seems to unthreatening to every...

    Otos Are Pooping

I would feel this is a good sign. But I tend to wait to see if their stomachs have increased in size. I also like to add some squash to the tank to help feel them in the beginning.

    Attaching Plants To Bogwood

Also fishing line is also an option. I used this as myself. Just make sure you don't leave any loops hanging around, or the fish might get caught. Riccia you will need to put into a net. It will grow out of it netting and stay in place. Though when it gets long, it tends to break free for the...

I Want To Change My Substrate.

Ok, here are some of my suggestions The Eco-complete is probally the best substrate for you right now. The light that you are showing, I am concerned for the light temperature. It is 12000k which is perfect for a coral tank, but not for a freshwater plant tank. I suggest...

Do Shrimps Clean Up The Plants?

Depending on your shrimp they eat algae, and micro-particles in the water, or on plants, and other places. I would just take your fish net to pick up debris around the tank.

How Can I Grow Low Creeping Plants On The Substrate?

Depending on the plant, it would need more co2 as well as lighting to do really well. Otherwise they do not spread as well. But the are also algae magnets because they grow slower, and have the largest surface area to the light. To help avail this, is to possibly add some faster growing plants...

Any No About Building A Large Fish Tank

I would possibly suggest using acrylic for a tank of this size. It is a bit stronger, lighter, but can scratch easily. This would be better for a large tank like that though. I am not sure of the dimensions you would need though.

    Questions About Eco-complete Substrate

Eh, I have not found anything good at home depot or lowes around where I am. Because the eco-complete is a darker color, you could just get some dark gravel and mix it in, but eventually, only the gravel will be on the top. So you really should try the one bag, and maybe get another one, or have...

Is It Worth It To Upgrade The Filter To A Biowheel In My 29 Gallon...

Well it has a 170 filter, which should be 170g/h. Which is fine for your tank. Though a little on the lower side of my range (5-7g/h on power filters) though this does go down when it gets cloged. I think on these filters there is a overflow on them. Which is to the right of the normal flow. If...
