i agree with rachealsosilly, i use the whisper air pump powered filter, i think its called a 3i. it works in my 2.5 gal. tanks.

the lfs that i work at likes to sell furan, which is apparentlly like the peniccillen of the fish world, cure-all kind of thing, but i never use it, its too hard on the fish i think. i use melafix alot tho. (when needed of course :P ) Rugby

hello, this happened to me a year or two ago. the female shouldnt be in any danger, or at least mine didnt have any problems with later births... perhaps different ph, or other parameters stressed her? also, putting them in a little box puts them under a lot of stress, (not much else u can do...

i agree tottally with meg the fish on this one. i had to work hard to get a reputation of being a good employee at a fish store, not because i didnt no a thing aobut fish, but because i am 16. i hate how age must always play a facter in thise. thank u meg for standing up for fish employees ! :)...

i think i know what u have. i cant remember there name though. i had them in an old 5 gallon. were the kinda a milky white to clear color? if so, i had them, and they are harmless. i still wanted to get rid of them, so just a large water change, and they were gone. hope i helped!! Rugby
