I have just done another water change now, to try to perk her up a bit. I usually do a water change once a week, and I do one bucket, which is between 16 and 20 litres I think. The filter sponge gets changed once a month as per instructions. Is that enough water to change?

Unfortunatly I don't have a test kit, so can't test the water, however I have done a water change to be on the safe side. He didn't seem to have any obvious illness, so hopefully it won't be something that will harm the remaining fish.

Yes Angels can be pretty nasty, despite their nice name! Betta's can live in quite small tanks, so maybe it's best you buy him a small tank of his own once his fins are better?

Ive heard that apparently guppies are quite hard to keep alive! But luckily all ours have been ok till this one! Do you think now that all the others will be ok? I read the link you gave, it said they can get infections when weakened, which could have been caused by prolonged med usage I guess...
